Care of Fine Linens:
Matteo linens become softer, smoother, and more absorbent with use and proper laundering. They will be beautiful for generations when cared for properly.

Our linens may be machine washed or dry cleaned, but we recommend home laundering with a lukewarm wash cycle and a cool dryer setting (excessive heat will cause abnormal shrinkage). The use of bleaching agents on colors may diminish the brilliance and the depth of tone, so we suggest Le Blanc Linen Wash with its neutral pH balance that makes it safe enough to use on linens, 100% Egyptian Cottons, synthetics, and blends.

Items woven of 100% linen or linen/cotton blends should be laundered the same way as cotton. Linen is valued for its strength and durability, and with repeated laundering becomes softer and takes on a beautiful luster.
