Return Policy
- The Linen Closet processes payment at the time orders are placed. If an item is backordered or delayed, the customer will be notified and given the option to cancel and receive an refund.
- Returns of merchandise will be accepted under certain conditions. The Linen Closet must be notified via email of a return within five days of receipt of merchandise. After the initial five day period, returns will only receive store credit. After one month, no returns will be accepted. The only exception occurs for holiday purchases made between Thanksgiving and Christmas for which returns are accepted through the first week of January.
- Please note there will be a 15% restocking fee applied to all returned merchandise. Merchandise exchanges are not subject to a restocking fee.
- Returns will be for the cost of the merchandise only. Shipping charges will not be refunded under any circumstance for returned items. Returns that were shipped free-of-charge will be debited the initial cost of shipping incurred by The Linen Closet.
- Returns must be in orginal packaging and unopened or folded as orginally packaged and all tags must be attached to receive credit.
- If a return is received and appears to be used or soiled, there will be no refund issued. Only items available for resell at full retail value will be accepted unless an item is received in defective condition. If an item is received in defective condition, please return as orginally packaged. However, please note that if an item is laundered, returns will not be processed under any circumstance.
- To receive credit for returns, you must first receive a return authorization number (RA#) from The Linen Closet. Your return authorization number must be marked clearly on the outside of the package being returned. Unauthorized returns will be sent back the customer.
- We do not accept any returns on sale merchandise. Sale merchandise is defined as any item that is purchased for less than the full retail price, including promotional sales,coupons, or other discounts.
- If exchanging an item, shipment of the new item will not occur until receipt of the returned item, unless authorized by customer to charge exchanged item and a credit will then occur once the returned item is received. Shipment following the return mechandise (i.e. exchanges) does not qualify for our free shipment agreement.
- The customer assumes all liability for returns that are shipped without insurance.
*Every effort is made to ensure that online prices are accurate. Occasionally, errors are discovered. When an item is priced incorrectly, The Linen Closet will notify the customer of the mistake. At that time, the customer will have the option to cancel or proceed with the order.
